Afinities
Espetáculo apresentado por Jorge Nascimento (saxofones e composições), Tiago Santos (bandolim 10 cordas e composições) e Marco Papa (violões 7 cordas).
It includes an authorial repertoire, with the musical and artistic conception based and built through the constant compositional mixing and experimentation of Brazilian instrumental popular music, with genres such as Samba, Jazz, Choro, Baião, among others.
With this show, the objective is not only to spread these genres but also to promote a certain enchantment to listeners who, in music, seek broader reasons for the development of their relationships, be they personal, interpersonal, artistic, social, or cultural.
Bandolim Trio
Formed by mandolinists Tiago Santos, Daniel Migliavacca, and Vitor Casagrande. This unusual formation with two traditional 8-string mandolins and a 10-string mandolin, with a lower pair, refers to a chamber and concert music sound with the characteristics of the Brazilian mandolin through the influence of masters such as Jacob do Bandolim and Luperce Miranda, walking through different rhythms and genres such as Choro, Samba, Baião, Valsa, Tango, Maxixe and Fox-trot.
The idea for the trio emerged in 2018 during the course of the professional master's program at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, completed by the three in 2019, under the advice of Professor and mandolinist Paulo Sá. In this concert, the Bandolim Trio presents an entirely authorial repertoire that is on their first album “Ludicamente”, recorded in 2022.
